ASUP is to embark on strike today 13th November 2017, and with the information gathered from the Laspotech polytechnic's SUG executives, the polytechnic won't be joining the strike for now due to reasons best known to the polytechnic's management, so all students are been implored to resume as full lectures begins today and registration continues for new students. ASUP Addressing newsmen in Abuja on Monday, after the union’s emergency National Executive Council Meeting, ASUP President, Usman Dutse regretted the nonchalant manner successive administrations had treated polytechnic education in the country. “This action shall be sustained until our demands are met or an implementable memorandum of action is agreed upon by our union and relevant agencies of government,” he stated.
