It's been days now after the evil operation carried out by the evil cult group known as "Badoo" left the Odogunyan residents, a sub town in Ikorodu in pain, tears and desperation after killing a family of five cold blooded. From that day the residents of the area have decided to turn Night to Day and make their day remain day, in which some results have been gotten, and jungle judgements given to the members of the heartless gang that have been apprehended. The first and second gate area of the Lagos state polytechnic has decided to remain awake and vigilant until a solution has been made to the threat against their lives. The night security group (Oyabo), students, youths and some residents of the area have decided to take the current situation going on at ikorodu on their shoulders by denying themselves of sleep and rest at night. It was heard, rumoured or not that the evil cult gang have dropped a threat letter promising to visit first gate anytime soon. This making it...

Bodies of 2 UN experts found in Democratic Republic of Congo

The bodies of two UN experts who went missing in the Democratic Republic of Congo this month have been found, the United Nations said in a statement Tuesday. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said UN peacekeepers discovered the bodies of US citizen Michael Sharp and Swedish national Zaida Catalan on Monday outside the city of Kananga. The body of their Congolese interpreter, Betu Tshintela, was also discovered with them. A Congo government official told CNN that Catalan's body was found decapitated, but Sharp and Tshintela were not beheaded. Their cause of death is not determined, according to government spokesman Lambert Mende. "They were found together with the body of a Congolese interpreter who was working with them and who was identified clearly by our police," Mende said. The bodies are at a municipal hospital in Kasai province and Mende said their remains will likely be transferred to Kinshasa on Thursday. Sharp and Catalan were members of the UN Group of E...

The UNICEF has made a pledge to spend $3.3 billion on malnourished children, especially arising from conflicts and crises

Yesterday the United Nations Children Funds announces, it is spending a mind blowing $3.3billion on about 48million children in areas affected by conflicts. The north-Eastern part of Nigeria is listed among the areas that will be getting the fund as most homes have been abandoned and destroyed by the Boko Haram insurgency, which have left over 1.6million people homeless and over 90000 children at risk of starvation as parents are unable to provide the necessary needs for their children.Other countries listed to be affected by the conflict are Yemen, Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, Pakistan, and so on.  Earlier this week the UNICEF warns that 90000 children are expected to die of starvation in the North-Eastern part of Nigeria if necessary cautions are not taken. I believe this is a great step towards avoiding the disaster warned about. Now we employ the Nigerian Government to also take a great step towards avoiding the disaster and together we will overcome it.  Lets come together ...

#3. GIVE US THE CHILDHOOD

We came to celebrate eid with you We're asking you about the eid Why we don't have eid or decoration? Oh world Our lands are infected with fire Our free lands are stolen Our skies are dreaming and asking the days Our lands are stolen Our land is small like me, young! Give us the peace And give us the childhood.                                              Aatona Attofola. The above will be familiar mostly to the Arab world. For so long children have been made to partake in wars they know nothing of, the little ones becoming a victim of the horrific moments caused by our so called selfish, self centered leaders, becoming a casualty of wars based on vengeance, greediness, racism etc. There are days when I'm unable to sleep, and lay confidently on my pouch, knowing there r...

My Country, my dream

I see a people rising, tired of being enslaved by their own people, speaking out for themselves, everyone determined and set to give it whatever it takes to break free from the chains of slavery in disguise. I see the streets filled and the homes empty, I see mothers behind their children, saying "this time no one is returning home until we are free", I see a united Nigeria, even though it looks divided but every tribe with one voice for the very first time. I see a peaceful march but yet the most fearsome movement ever. Then did I see the people melting  huge  hives of shackles and using them in building a strong hold, and few people did I see been lined and forced into the strong hold by the multitude. After this event did I hear a loud noise of joy, happiness, and of all it was the sound of freedom.  I see a one Nigeria, the north, south, east and west leaving peacefully, united and strong. I see a free and fair Election, equality before the law, a country where everyo...
