First gate, Ikorodu remains awake and vigilant

It's been days now after the evil operation carried out by the evil cult group known as "Badoo" left the Odogunyan residents, a sub town in Ikorodu in pain, tears and desperation after killing a family of five cold blooded. From that day the residents of the area have decided to turn Night to Day and make their day remain day, in which some results have been gotten, and jungle judgements given to the members of the heartless gang that have been apprehended. The first and second gate area of the Lagos state polytechnic has decided to remain awake and vigilant until a solution has been made to the threat against their lives. The night security group (Oyabo), students, youths and some residents of the area have decided to take the current situation going on at ikorodu on their shoulders by denying themselves of sleep and rest at night.
It was heard, rumoured or not that the evil cult gang have dropped a threat letter promising to visit first gate anytime soon. This making it the second time such letter have been received and the gang were successful at their first visit, attacking a family around the area of Larex Water, but the residents are now fully aware of the threat and are promising to remain vigilant as long as life still remains in them.
Ikorodu be strong, brave and have faith that the thief may have a lot of days but one day only is what the owner needs.
Never forget you are expected not to let your guide down, report any strange movement you see.
Ikorodu shall be peaceful again...

Help Stop An Execution

Nearly two years ago, the eyes of the world were on Oklahoma, where a man named Richard Glossip was facing execution for a 1997 murder many people say he was not involved in. I learned about Richard’s case when actress Susan Sarandon contacted me, expressing deep concern that the State of Oklahoma was just about to kill an innocent man. After reviewing the facts, I too became convinced of Richard’s innocence, and we decided to  make a public plea for the governor to gra nt freedom On 30 September 2015, Richard came within minutes of execution by lethal injection, when officials suddenly stopped the proceedings. As it turned out, the state of Oklahoma had procured the wrong execution drug, risking another botched execution that would lead to a slow and painful death. At the last minute, Governor Mary Fallin, not exactly an opponent of the death penalty, issued a stay of Richard’s execution. Today, Richard’s situation is nowhere near being resolved. As the st...

Former South Korean President Park Geun-hye , who was removed from office earlier this month, was arrested on Friday. "Major crimes have been ascertained and there is a concern that the suspect might attempt to destroy evidence," Judge Kang Bu-young said in a text message to reporters. "The court recognizes the need, necessity and reasonableness of the suspect's arrest." Prosecutors announced Monday that they were seeking to arrest Park on charges relating to abuse of power, accepting bribes and leaking important information. "The suspect abused the mighty power and position as President to take bribes from companies and infringed upon the freedom of corporate management and leaked important confidential official information," the statement from the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office said. Park had been held in a temporary detention facility at the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office Building ahead of the court's decision. S...

#DR Congo: Bruno Tshibala appointed new prime minister

Democratic Republic of Congo President Joseph Kabila has appointed Bruno Tshibala as the new prime minister of the power-sharing government. Mr Tshibala will be leader until presidential elections later this year. He was expelled from Congo's largest opposition party, the UDPS, last month after contesting the designation of successors to veteran leader Etienne Tshisekedi who died in February. Mr Tshibala's appointment is likely to further divide Mr Kabila's opponents. Talks to negotiate his exit from power broke down last week. Mr Kabila was supposed to step down after his second and final five-year term came to an end last year but the vote to replace him was not held. The electoral commission cited financial and logistical difficulties. The arrogance of power The failure to organize the polls led to a wave of deadly demonstrations by opposition supporters, with calls from diplomats for the president to respect the constitution. The Roman Catholic Church stepped in to brok...
