The weekend i tagged the most beautiful this year so far, a new month begins and the aroma of all the different delicacies been prepared for the Sallah celebration won't just allow me to have a rest of mind ooo.... I just had to seriously put this together after i heard a Bsc holder disgraced himself, his certificate and virtually the school who gave that certificate to him during an interview today at Eko Hotel & Suites earlier on today by prostrating to each and everyone of the interviewer one after the other. Common its isnt a traditional wedding now, as a female friend of mine said, its an interview and your culture isnt needed or required there. So, i just had to pull this few tips together for us all so that such scenario wouldn't be repeated by any one of us again.... 1. Walk confidently toward the interviewer or into the interviewer's office . Hold your head erect while looking forward. Keep your back and shoulders straight. Today we celebrate and honour every single African child, home and abroad, dead or alive, rich or poor, living in the woods, on the streets, in mansions, in refugee camps, in war Zones etc. With a broken heart, and a shivering mind, I send out my utmost wishes to every African Child who have to walk miles to school and back home daily, African child who have to hawk over 16hrs daily just to have a sip of water and a tiny loaf of bread to survive,  those who are casualties of meaningless Wars and violence, Victims of child trafficking, those who were made to watch their homes burn to Ashes, and their family destroyed. Ones a child is born, as early as age three, the child begins the adventure called Education, three years in the kindergarten/nursery school, immediately moves to the primary school where he/she spends six good years of his/her life with a lot of different subjects (as much as 16 different ones). then straight up the child moves to the secondary school (high school) where he/she spends another six years with so much subjects been enforced into the child's brain. Its of recent i just started asking myself , how did i pass through this stressful stages of my education life? when ever i see a 7 - 8 year old child going to school with a big filled bag that appears to be heavier than the child itself. 16 subjects for a seven year old child? waoooooo, please how do the teachers expect this young ones to know the sixteen subjects? well, adaptation i think it is. Apartheid's death throes were in full swing, violent and bloody, yet here was Archbishop Tutu, Nobel peace laureate and activist, in the chapel of Curnow's school. "He still took the time to come out and speak to a bunch of teenage girls in the suburbs," she marvels.
