GOVERNOR AKINWUNMI AMBODE : BREAKS THE CHAIN OF 25 YEARS IN LAGOS STATE POLYTECHNIC CONVOCATION



His excellency Governor Akinwunmi Ambode graces the Lagos State Polytechnic 25th Convocation, and made it a day worth it. One could tell it from the look on the faces of the parents, grandaunts and the entire people of First Gate, Ikorodu . Nature itself felt a chain has been broken, waoooooooooooo!!! for good 24 convocation ceremonies, no Lagos State Governor ever made it a priority to grace the day with their presence, but this day on the 25th Convocation Ceremony of The Lagos State Polytechnic.

The joy could also been seen on His face "my guess", i am so sure He would be asking Himself  " Am i really the first Governor to grace this Land " well Sir, if you did ask yourself that question, you are right, according to the history revealed, "that no Lagos State Governor has ever been to the school premises". You honored us and showed to us you are a Man For All and the Ear for all voices. May God Honor You Sir. The Lagos State Governor expresses His joy as he takes to twitter, to tweet about the occasion of the day.

Gunmen Kidnap Commissioner In Cross River

The Police have confirmed the kidnap of the Cross River State Commissioner for Water Resources, Mr Gabriel Odu-Oji. According to the State Command, Mr Odu-Oji was kidnapped by unknown gunmen in the early hours of Sunday in Calabar South Local Government Area of the state. The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Tunde Gbolarumi, confirmed the incident during a telephone interview with Channels Television. Mr Gbolarumi said the Command has blocked all exit roads, with a strict stop and search exercise of all vehicles coming in and out of Calabar, aimed at preventing the kidnappers from fleeing out of the state’s capital successfully. He noted that the Police and other security agencies will not rest in their oars in ensuring that the Commissioner, whom he said is still within Calabar according to intelligence report, is released without being hurt nor any ransom paid.
