Summary

Seven arrests have been made in raids by police
Four people died: Two members of the public, Metropolitan Police officer Keith Palmer, and the attacker
PC Palmer died after being stabbed outside the Houses of Parliament
At least 40 others were injured - seven are in a critical condition
The attacker drove into people on Westminster Bridge before reaching the Houses of Parliament
The attacker - who has not been named - was shot and killed by police
Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley has said it is believed the attacker was inspired by international terrorism
Prime Minister Theresa May condemned the attack as "sick and depraved"

Travel update: Westminster station shut and roads closed

Westminster Tube Station remains shut for entry and exit although passengers can interchange between the Jubilee, District and Circle lines.

Several roads are closed around Westminster:

Westminster Bridge
Parliament Square
Victoria Street between Storey's Gate and Parliament Square
Victoria Embankment westbound from Upper Thames Street to A302 Westminster Bridge and eastbound Westminster Bridge to Northumberland Avenue
Millbank between Parliament Square and Lambeth Bridge
All of Whitehall, the Mall and Constitution Hill are closed off as well
MBNA Thames Clipper say the London Eye Pier has reopened for boat services but Westminster Pier remains closed.

Seven people have been arrested in six raids across the country, police have said in a briefing
In one of the raids, in Birmingham, three people were taken away by police
Police have named one of the victims as Aysha Frade, who worked at DLD College near Westminster Bridge 
Areas around Parliament remained cordoned-off and a minute's silence will be held in Westminster and Whitehall at 09:33 GMT
The Prime Minister has condemned the attack and its like, saying such acts are "doomed to failure"
Footage has emerged of the driver crossing Westminster Bridge, hitting pedestrians and including the moment a woman fell into the water
Investigations are still under way on Westminster Bridge and at parliament
Security is being reviewed at Westminster, despite the UK being prepared to tackle such an attack

Amancio Ortega Becomes The Richest Person In The World

The Spanish business tycoon, Amancio Ortega, co-founder of Spanish retailing giant Inditex, is now the richest person in the world with a cool $200 million edge over previous richest person Bill Gates.
