Wizkid and Davido at war Again.

WizKid and Davido took a new turn at the just concluded one AFrica music fest held in Dubai.
.
It was reported that the beef started between the two camps, not the two superstars.
.
The sold-out concert started on a high note until when Wizkid's manager, Sunday Are and Tekno had an altercation backstage.

It all started when Are had insisted that Tiwa Savage must perform before Tekno, and once she's about to round up, she'll invite Wizkid to join her on stage and perform their latest collaboration, Malo. .

After their collaboration, Wizkid will then be joined by his band for his performance. That arrangement even though sound professional, was rejected by the organizers who wanted Wizkid to close the show. Unknown to Tiwa, Wizkid got on stage to perform #Malo with her.

After shutting down the One Africa Music Fest stage with his electrifying performance, Wizkid exited the building. .

By then Davido and his 15-man entourage had just arrived the venue. Within minutes, word reached the 30 Billion gang of what transpired between Wizzy's team and Tekno. .

Although, Davido did not react to the incident, some of his guys took it upon themselves to confront Wizkid, who was about leaving the venue in a Bentley.

By this time, Wizkid was by his car taking pictures , when one of Davido's entourage approached his car and threatened him.

This threat did not go down well with the #Starboyentourage as fracas broke out between the two camp.

Help Stop An Execution

Nearly two years ago, the eyes of the world were on Oklahoma, where a man named Richard Glossip was facing execution for a 1997 murder many people say he was not involved in. I learned about Richard’s case when actress Susan Sarandon contacted me, expressing deep concern that the State of Oklahoma was just about to kill an innocent man. After reviewing the facts, I too became convinced of Richard’s innocence, and we decided to  make a public plea for the governor to gra nt freedom On 30 September 2015, Richard came within minutes of execution by lethal injection, when officials suddenly stopped the proceedings. As it turned out, the state of Oklahoma had procured the wrong execution drug, risking another botched execution that would lead to a slow and painful death. At the last minute, Governor Mary Fallin, not exactly an opponent of the death penalty, issued a stay of Richard’s execution. Today, Richard’s situation is nowhere near being resolved. As the st...

South Korean President Park Geun-hye arrested

Former South Korean President Park Geun-hye , who was removed from office earlier this month, was arrested on Friday. "Major crimes have been ascertained and there is a concern that the suspect might attempt to destroy evidence," Judge Kang Bu-young said in a text message to reporters. "The court recognizes the need, necessity and reasonableness of the suspect's arrest." Prosecutors announced Monday that they were seeking to arrest Park on charges relating to abuse of power, accepting bribes and leaking important information. "The suspect abused the mighty power and position as President to take bribes from companies and infringed upon the freedom of corporate management and leaked important confidential official information," the statement from the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office said. Park had been held in a temporary detention facility at the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office Building ahead of the court's decision. S...

#DR Congo: Bruno Tshibala appointed new prime minister

Democratic Republic of Congo President Joseph Kabila has appointed Bruno Tshibala as the new prime minister of the power-sharing government. Mr Tshibala will be leader until presidential elections later this year. He was expelled from Congo's largest opposition party, the UDPS, last month after contesting the designation of successors to veteran leader Etienne Tshisekedi who died in February. Mr Tshibala's appointment is likely to further divide Mr Kabila's opponents. Talks to negotiate his exit from power broke down last week. Mr Kabila was supposed to step down after his second and final five-year term came to an end last year but the vote to replace him was not held. The electoral commission cited financial and logistical difficulties. The arrogance of power The failure to organize the polls led to a wave of deadly demonstrations by opposition supporters, with calls from diplomats for the president to respect the constitution. The Roman Catholic Church stepped in to brok...
